“Flintknapping” is the word used to describe the process of making stone tools from flint, chert, obsidian, and even man-made glass. The Michigan Flintknappers is a group of individuals dedicated to the art, tradition, and education of making stone tools (arrowheads, spearheads, scrapers, etc.) the way the Anishnaabek did for thousands of years.…
