Honoring the Anishinaabe Soldiers of the 1st Michigan Sharpshooters
On behalf of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians, please accept this invitation to the Company K Memorial Highway Dedication taking place on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the Leelanau Sands Casino Showroom.
This gathering represents an opportunity to honor the Anishinaabe soldiers of Company K and reflect upon their service, sacrifice, and enduring legacy. We are honored to welcome community members, partners, leaders, and guests to participate in this meaningful event.
The Grand Traverse Band values the relationships we continue to build throughout our region and beyond. Through gatherings such as this, we strengthen connections, share knowledge, and work collectively toward a stronger future for our communities and future generations.
